Le Prélude school Rouyn-Noranda

The Le Prélude School project in Rouyn-Noranda enabled an in-depth transformation of the existing building through a strategic expansion, a functional redesign, and a carefully executed envelope renovation. The architectural intervention clarified the school's spatial organization, improving the legibility of circulation paths, the quality of living spaces, and user safety.

The addition of a new pavilion integrates seamlessly into the neighborhood's institutional fabric, both in its siting and its architectural language. The project showcases an architecture in service of learning, attentive to natural light, occupant comfort, and material durability, while rigorously meeting contemporary functional and regulatory requirements.
