Amos Detention Center

Share

The new Amos detention centre was completed at a cost of $126 million, in consortium with Parizeau Pawulski and Provencher Roy. Boasting 17,000 m2 of surface space, the centre houses 170 cells in a cluster of five buildings. A key feature of the architectural concept is the large atrium in the centre of the project, which provides ample natural light.

A major new milestone is underway for our two firms, now united within a single entity.

MLS and ARTCAD officially joined forces in January 2026, completing a merger that marks the natural evolution of a partnership solidly established over the years. To support this transition, a temporary visual identity is being deployed for the coming months.

This merger is the culmination of several years of collaboration built on a shared vision, common values, and a strong professional affinity. By bringing together our talents, expertise, and passion for architecture, we are consolidating a unique synergy combining creativity, technical rigor, and innovation. This union allows us to expand our capabilities, strengthen our market positioning, and offer our clients ever more ambitious and high-performing architectural solutions.
