The Sainte-Famille Pavilion, located in Ville-Marie, was the subject of an ambitious expansion and redevelopment project aimed at modernizing its infrastructure and improving the quality of care offered to the population of Témiscamingue. This large-scale project represents a $40.5 million investment, under the responsibility of the CISSS de l'Abitibi-Témiscamingue, and was carried out in consortium with the firm BBBL.

This project strengthens the safety, performance, and comfort of both patients and staff. The spaces affected by this ambitious mandate include locker rooms, a mechanical room, support facilities, a new emergency department (5 beds, including one for mental health), a shock/trauma area, an ambulance garage, critical care, an operating suite, an endoscopy room, a day surgery unit, a medical device reprocessing unit, an oncology clinic, laboratory redevelopment, outpatient consultations, clinical-administrative offices, and medical imaging.
