Rouyn-Noranda Airport terminal

Modern and welcoming, the new Rouyn-Noranda airport terminal, inaugurated in 2022, is three times larger than the previous one and offers an exceptional passenger experience. Designed with local materials such as wood and copper, it reflects the regional identity while incorporating sustainable development principles. It features bright, warm spaces; the halls offer double-height ceilings with views of the runway.

Services have also been enhanced with relaxation areas, dining options, and meeting rooms. The parking area and forecourt have also been completely redeveloped. This project represents a major investment of $54 million, making it the largest construction project in the history of the City of Rouyn-Noranda and positioning it as a gateway to the North and an economic driver for Abitibi-Témiscamingue.
